Dietary traps in which young mummies get

You walk regularly with a pram and try to eat less sweetmeat, but your weight after the birth of the child any way does not decrease. What's happening? Probably, you wish to achieve fast results in too short time. Dieticians consider, it's necessary no less than a year for the weight to return to what it had been before the pregnancy. Especially, if you do not nurse and have put on more than 6-9 kg. But if after the first year the weight does not returned to the norm, it is time to reconsider some habits of yours.

You eat because there is food

Everybody around you tries to help you to eat more and tastier food – they think you need it. You taste porridge when cooking food for the child, and then eat up what he has left. You start eating just because  there is food in the house, instead of when you are hungry. Everything seems to be up in arms against you and your figure. Simple advice – eat only when you are hungry, try to eat vegetables and fruit, boiled meet. As for the rests of food, simply cook less. Actually, if the child is not satisfied you may give him a banana or some children's cookies.

Lack of sleeping

It is one more trap for mummies: people are inclined to consume more meal, especially sweets because of insufficient quantity of sleeping. In fact, the organism needs to compensate for the energy deficiency by any means. And the fastest way is to eat. Besides lack of sleeping increases the level of stress which is usually eliminated with sweets. Try to find some extra time in the afternoon for sleep. Go to the gym or just do exercise - physical exercises liberate glycogen (special stocks of carbohydrates in the muscles) and it raises the level of glucose in blood. It gives additional energy to all the organism.

You eat nothing all day, and then make up missed

It is one of the bad habits – to have nothing all the day because of work and fuss with the child and house affairs, and to eat at dinnereverything caught in eye. At such a hungry diet your metabolism is slowed down up to the minimum and when you eat the norm of calories at dinner, they simply have no time to be burnt down and are postponed in the form of fat. To avoid tis type of situation, it is desirable to eat something every three, at maximum four hours.

"Children's" diet

When there are  children in the house the fridge is mainly hammered with food useful for children and with their delicacies. For lunch and dinner all that child likes eating, roast chicken and potatoes. Without mentioning sweets, cookies and creamy yoghurts. But if these products are not useful to you hardly they are useful to your offsprings. It's better to accustom children to healthy food since the childhood. As researches show, healthy food depends on women in the family and if mum eats a lot of vegetables and fruit, all the family, including the child, eat them willingly, too. There is a unique product equally useful both to you and your child. It is milk and dairy products. Milk is an excellent source of calcium. And calcium plays a great role in loosing weight.

You  are constantly at home

Constant access to the fridge conceals a considerable danger in itself. Women, being at home most of time, console themselves in food at stress, boredom, feeling of loneliness, chew when watching TV, reading, cooking dinner, using the computer, speaking on the phone. According to the researches women consumed approximately 300 calories more during the meal while watching TV, than while eating in silence. Before your hand will once again pull to the fridge, wonder: «I am actually so hungry?» If you are really hungry, do not eat sweets. The food should be high-grade even when feeling light famine: a yoghurt or other dairy products, fruit, salads, a sandwich with meat or fish. Try to eat also according to the schedule – as though you were at work and food was inaccessible to you. Try to spend at least 20 minutes without food in front of TV or with a book. If your hand is nevertheless pulling after a chocolate, tell yourself: « It is half of my dinner» - and reduce the forthcoming dinner exactly twice.
